At the end of last year, I have been continuously receiving this notification that update for Acrobat Reader DC has failed to update. When I click on Details, it refers to Error Code 1646.
After a while, I tried -
1) Downloading the package and doing the update manually
2) Uninstalling through Windows Add or Remove Programs
but both methods have an error prompt "Uninstallation of the patch package is not supported
I then look to previous answers and downloaded the AcroCleaner tool but have been unable to solve the problem as well. My program is working fine, but the update fail is bugging me.
I tried to point the Cleaner tool to the folder where the DC reader application is located, but it doesn't work for some reason. Is there another way to do a clean uninstall and install?
