Working with Acrobat DC without internet connection

Are there things that can be done with the Acrobat DC program to allow smooth functioning when an internet connection is not available?  Over the past week while my intermittent internet connection problem was existing and being worked on, Acrobat seemed to need to require internet connection and was not functioning well.  I have no need of the cloud to share documents. Are there features that can be changed if no internet connection is available to allow better operation of the program?

Hi clrf0,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you want to know if Acrobat tools/functions can be used without an active internet connection, is that correct?

You may try Acrobat 2017 perpetual desktop version of Acrobat and see if that works for you.

I would like to add that sending a document for e-signature with Adobe Sign and sharing PDFs with others requires an online connection.

You can compare Acrobat's version using this link; Plans and pricing: Compare versions | Adobe Acrobat DC

Thank you for the reply. The question I posed was for a several days

instance where internet connection was not possible. While the

internet was unavailable, Acrobat DC did not work well. I was

seeking guidance on what actions might be taken by an Acrobat DC user

when undergoing a problem with internet connection.

And of course, they never answered "what actions might be taken by an Acrobat DC user

when undergoing a problem with internet connection".
