I opened a text document in Acrobat, edited and printed it. My printer (Epson SureColor P600) changed ink from matte black to photo black, which took the next fifteen minutes and used up a great deal of ink, and producing a poor print on my copy paper. Pressing the "printer" button in the Acrobat print dialog gives the printer's print dialog, and in it the ink choice is matte black. What is going on and how is it possible to avoid this happening?
(I never ever use photo black. )
