Whenever I open any PDF it closes unexpectedly within 30 seconds. No error messages. I have tried re-installing the program several times. I am using windows 10 and it has been installed on this computer for a year now, but this just started hapeneing in the last few weeks.

Thank you Eric and JR. Updating to 11.0.23 would not work, so I updated to 11.0.01 and it seems to be fine now. Not sure why anytime Adobe tries to update automatically it come back with and error saying this program has been updated by some ther means, but it is working fine now. Your help was much appreciated!!

To zawhite, THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! Like Cglimor said, Hot $%&@ !! “Upgrading” to the original 11.0.01 WORKS !! My guess, and it’s only a guess, is one of Adobe’s later upgrades doesn’t play well with Windows 7 Pro, sp-1 (my system). I’ve spent months on this and I can’t afford the $$$ for the newer releases of Acrobat. So again, THANK YOU!!
Just Bill 🙂
BTW, to all others, don’t forget to turn off the “Automatic Updates”

Hallelujah! That worked for me too! So simple but I didn't think about it for months! I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe, uninstalling other applications that I thought were affecting it, cleaning up temporary files, and more. Thanks JR!

Yes, to avoid the Acrobat pro 11 crash, upgrade the Acrobat pro 11 to 11.0.23. I have the same issue with multiple users and after upgrading to the latest version 11.0.23 issue resolved.
