Hi, I am using Adobe to send my PDF files and in the old system, it remembered previous email addresses so I didn't have to type them in every time - they would come up as I started to type. Is this facility not available now? This is adding precious time to my work and I am finding it very frustrating. I can't see anywhere to add addresses or anything - please advise as I am considering switching to a different system
Hi caryndavies,
Adobe Send doesn't remember email address the way Adobe SendNow did. However, if you access Send via Adobe Reader, you can take advantage of your local address book, which might speed up the process. And if you're using Outlook 2010 or 2013 for Windows, you could use the Outlook plug-in so that you can access Send directly from your Outlook account. You can get the plug-in from here: Send Large Files Online - Share, Control, Track & Manage | Adobe Send.
Please let us know if you ha

Sara,
I think the issue is that the "SendNow" product was a fairly full featured product that was easily leveraged by TEAMS or GROUPS of people, independent of their office productivity suite, or for that matter choice PDF toolset. The ability to "send" files was only one aspect of the tool. The bits that were the real attraction were the download tracking that actually worked, an address book and/or groups of addresses that could be reused for similar projects, the ability to see historical data that included addresses and access information (that AGAIN could be referenced and resued), etc.
There is nothing about this new "Send" product that resembles the functionality of the old "SendNew" product. Adobe continues to prove that they are clueless and out of touch. They have taken yet one more viable product and ruined it in the name of herding people to their shitball "cloud" offering. The fact they ambiguously named the product "Send" is all one needs to know. Exactly how does one search for help, information or reviews for a product with such an overtly ambiguous name? Brilliance on display (again) Adobe, your decision makers and manager are superstars!
Every customer I have that was a "SendNow" customer has canceled their subscription since their migration and moved to HighTail, Citrix or other viable platforms. Get your collective heads out of your collective ass Adobe....

We recently introduced email address autocompletion to Send & Track. An announcement is posted here: https://forums.adobe.com/message/7472466
