Good day,

After installing Acrobat and opening a document, if I want to edit it and press only 1 key, the program closes automatically. Everything already uninstalled, not installed. Cache deleted etc etc. What's the problem here?

Thanks for the help.

Hi Ramon,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble.

As the application closes unexpectedly when trying to edit the PDF, please try the troubleshooting steps suggested in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html

You may also try reseting the applicaiton preferences using the steps suggested in the following community thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/m-p/47920...

Chekc if that helps.

If the above steps does not help, try uninstalling the applicaiton using the cleaner tool (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html) and reboo the machine. Then reinstall the Acrobat Pro DC directly from this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/acrobat-downloads.html

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
