Adobe Cloud Reader can delete locked Comments

I am using Adobe Cloud Reader (https://documentcloud.adobe.com/spodintegration/) with the SHarePoint Integration. When I add a comment, every other user can delete or modify th comment. So I lock the Comment by using the Adobe PDF Client App.

But after saving and closing the client App, in the CLoud reader the COmment can be deleted

Is this a bug or is this by design?

Hi Peter29237659mkvq,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please confirm if you open the same PDF in the desktop application which is shared with others.

It would be helpful if you could share the step-by-step workflow you do to share PDFs and lock the comment.

It will help us to understand what you are trying and share the correct information.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Here are the steps to reproduce:

1) Upload a Doc into a SharePoint Lib and open it in the Adobe Cloud Reader

Thank you for sharing the screenshots.

Could you please confirm if the comment in the last screenshot is the same one that was added to the desktop application? Or are you just showing the delete option by adding the comment online?

Would you mind confirming if you open the document first on the desktop and add the comment? Then after saving it, you open it on Acrobat for Edge.

Just need to be sure we understand the workflow correctly to provide you the correct answer.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
