Looking at the information shared above, I believe you are unable to edit the pdf file after converting it to the word document?
The quality of converted document depends on the type of pdf file you start with. If your document is not editable after conversion, then there could be couple of possibilities-
1- the original document is either a scanned file or it has only images in it and doesn't contain any real text.
2- The document is secured and its security doesn't allow you to edit it.
Open document>Right Click>Security.
