Using with an iPad

1. Will PDF be accessible and editable even without an internet connection?

2. Is there a way to change the file name?

3. Does the app synch to a program on the desktop or do you have to just mail the PDF to get a copy of it?

Thanks.

Hi Fred,

Please find the answers to your query below:-

1). Will PDF be accessible and editable even without an internet connection?

>> Yes, only if you have the Acrobat DC app installed along with a subscription to Acrobat DC.

2).Is there a way to change the file name?

>> Yes, the option to change file name is available.

3).Does the app sync to a program on the desktop or do you have to just mail the PDF to get a copy of it?

>> Yes, we have the option called "Mobile Link" if it is turned on then your files will be saved on Document cloud online storage and get synchronized across all the devices on which you will log in with your details.

For more information you can also visit the below mentioned link :-

Hope this helps!

I do subscribe to CC 2015.

I guess part of my confusion is that on my iPad I have Adobe Fill & Sign and Adobe Acrobat. I would simply like to be able to open PDF files or other documents on the ipad and make changes to them, add check marks, etc. and somehow have them synch to my Mac.

Which of the two programs should I be using for this? Adobe Fill & Sign or Adobe Acrobat?

Thanks.

You need the Acrobat DC app to be able to edit the documents. Fill and Sign is used for filling PDF forms.

Keep the mobile link option turned ON on your MAC. This will upload your documents on the cloud and then you will be abel to access them through your Ipad as well.

Let us know if you have any further queries.

Thanks,

Tanvi

Hi Fred,

Probably, Tanvi is referring to Acrobat reader app only, you can download it from here if it isn't already installed on your iPad - (Adobe Acrobat Reader on the App Store on iTunes )

Regards,

Rahul
