I updated my credit card info as requested and no payment was taken. I asked a "question" in another forum and was directed here. If I don't find someone who will take my money...i won't be able to open my files.

Here's the info for contacting Adobe Customer Care: Contact Customer Care
Choose Acrobat.com from the Product pop-up menu, select Membership, Account, Payment, and then click the blue Still Need Help button. There, you'll find both phone and chat support options.
