Change Background of Acrobat OCR'd page.

What does this mean 

This message comes up as I try to change scanned page from a yellowing page from the scanner to a white on black page in Acrobat Pro.

The message generally appears when the background has already been added to the PDF pages. Please let us know if you created these scanned PDFs or received them via some source. 

If you have created the scanned PDF, share the steps used to create these PDFs.
