Please advise why every document is saving to a word doc, I cannot change to PDF. Even when scanning everything is auto saving as a word doc. Please help.

Looking at the information shared above, it seems that the MS word has been set up as a default application to open the documents. In order to set the Adobe Reader as default app to open the .pdf file, you may follow the instructions shared in the help document below-
