Im assisting someone that no longer has access to the "Open in Adobe" button in Google Chrome. For some reason Adobe Reader DC was reinstalld and that is when the button became no longer available. I have looked into adding the chrome extension but this has changed the UI of the PDF viewer in Chrome so I disabled it, back to square one.

Normally I would suggest downloading the PDF and just clicking it in the browser to open in Adobe Reader but this person has grown quite attached to the old button and wants it back. Is this something that can be restored or was it coded out in a recent update?

Hi James,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

Could you please confirm the Acrobat Reader DC and the OS version used on the person's machine?

Share the browser version as well.

Is it a work machine or the personal machine?

Thanks,

Meenakshi
