Hi,

I can't get the comments section to not pop open whenever I open a PDF in Adobe Acrobat, Windows. I have unchecked the "Show comments pane when a PDF with comments is unopened" multiple times, restarting or shut down my computer, then upom restart when I open a PDF, the comments pane opens again and that box is once again checked. I open dozens of PDFs per day and this is driving me crazy. Please help!

Hi Ambrosial_difference4880,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the application. In the Acrobat, go to Menu > Help > Check for updates.

If the same behavior occurs, try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/3YIzZZl).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/3YJCcUr;

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
