Conversion from pdf to excel produces false results. Some decimal points are not recognized, columns with numbers give columns with different formats. The pdf essentially consists of four columns, the first is dates, the second text, the two remaining are numbers with a "," as decimal point and a blank marking thousands. Does anyone know what to do?

Hi richardh88702038,

Do you know how that PDF file was created? (You can check by choosing File > Properties in Reader and looking at the Description tab.)  If the PDF was created by a third-party application, then it may not be written to spec. If it's not, then it may not contain the information that ExportPDF requires to ensure a clean conversion. Please see Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and formatting information?

I look forward to hearing more about the PDF that you're trying to convert.

Best,

Sara
