Using Acrobat X version 10.1.13 using the Tools dialogue. Upload and conversion successful, and when I open the downloaded file in Word 2013 I see only a series of blank boxes, some with "?" in them.

OS: Windows 8.1 pro 64-bit

Tried disabling OCR, produced same result

Your post is very confusing; are you actually using

  • Adobe Acrobat ?
  • Adobe Reader with the ExportPDF service ?

Apologies - using Adobe Reader 10.1.13

In the top right is a Tools menu, from which you can convert from PDF to Word. Trying both that, and the online ExportPDF service produces the same result.

It appears that the PDF uses fonts that are not available to the online subscription service.

Be well...
