Convert an Excel file to PDF

New Here ,

I want to upload Excel files (xlsx and xlsm) to the Document Cloud and convert them to PDF.  Does the Document Cloud have automation capability so I can do this programmatically through an API or similar mechanism?  Does the Document Cloud use Microsoft PIA to do the conversion like desktop Acrobat DC does?  Also, does Document Cloud handle Excel xlsm files?  In Document Cloud Help's "Using Adobe PDF Pack" entry, it only lists xls and xlsx under file types you can convert to PDF.

Thanks,

Ed

Hi edg905649,

The ExportPDF online service doesn't allow for automation like that. I'm sure of the answer to your question re: Microsoft PIA (I'll have to check on that). But, I can tell you that .xlsm isn't a supported file format for conversion to PDF with PDF Pack.

Best,

Sara

To convert excel files into whatever I need including PDF, I use http://www.coolutils.com/TotalExcelConverter . It is the best and most convenient software I`ve  ever used. It is very powerful and easy to operate with.
