Hi all,
We have several PDF docs using VNI-Windows font instead of Unicode. Is there an automatic or scripting way that we can use to convert the data to Unicode font (still in pdf format)?
The number of documents are huge so we want to avoid to convert them to Word, then convert them to unicode using our clipboard as much as we can.
Thanks a lot
No, that's not possible. PDF files were not meant to be edited in such an extensive way. Hopefully you have access to the source files used to create the PDFs. If you do, edit it there and then generate new PDFs from them. If you don't you'll need to export the existing files to an editable format (like Word or InDesign), edit them and then create new PDFs. This time make sure to keep a copy of the source files, in case more edits are required in the future.
