Just bought a one year license to convert PDF files to Word docx files. The coverted word files come back with many spelling errors and omissions. How can this be fixed?
Thanks

Hi vtroger,
The quality of a conversion really depends on the quality of the PDF file. Please see Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and form... | Adobe Community.
Can you please tell me a bit more about how the PDF was created? If the PDF wasn't well-written, that could be why the conversion wasn't as good as you'd like. If the PDF wasn't created from a scanned document, you may have better luck by disabling OCR as outlined in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community
Please let us know how it goes.

HI Sara,
Thank you for getting back to me. I used a scanner set at 600dpi. I'll
follow the link below and see if that solves the problem.

Hi Roger,
Since you're using a scanner (and the scanner software?) to create your PDF files, disabling OCR isn't an optimal solution. For you to be able to edit your PDFs after converting them, it's necessary that the text recognition process (the OCR) occurs. Otherwise, the image text created by the scanning software won't be converted to editable text.
What type of scanner/scanning software are you using?

Hey Sara,
I'm using MP Navigator EX1.0 software...and a Cannon MP 470 printer/scanner.

Fix = use Word to clean up the exported content.
Be well...

I did correct the spelling, but Word is choking. This export/import didn't happen correctly. Is there a Word utility that I could run?
Thanks
