converting to Word not working

When I try to convert a scanned PDF document to a word document, it has white-outs in signatures and hieroglyphic characters imbedded in signatures and dates as well.

would you mind confirming the application you use to convert scanned PDF document to word? Are you working with Adobe Acrobat or Reader?

Also, what is the exact workflow you follow? Please share screenshot of before and after export of document.

The scanned pdf you are converting, does it contain real text or its has only images?
