I am hoping someone can help me with this problem. We have a 500+ page document that we publish every year and post online as well. This also gets submitted for an annual award, but the reviewers keep gigging us on the page numbering. I know how to number the pages within Acrobat (both the document and the navigation panel) and do that so that they match the page numbers for what will ultimately be the printed book, ie: covers have no number, TOC is Roman numbers and then the actual meat of the document starts with page 1. However, when the reviewers or others open it in a web browser, the pages in the navigation panel are just 1 - whatever, starting with the cover as page 1. Is there a way to fix this so that when they open it in a web browser, the page numbers will be the same as the TOC and what will be the printed book? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

Hi SheliaHC,
Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble.
Please confirm whether you are referring to the page number shown on the right-hand side panel. If not, please share the screenshot here to understand the issue better. It would be helpful if you could share screenshots of how the numbers appear on the desktop and the web versions. We will check and share the correct information.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Thank so much for your reply. Here are 2 screenshots. The first one is how the page numbering appears in Adobe on the desktop and how it is in the printed book. The second one is how the page numbering shows up on the web. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
