Hi Stretch Structures,

Acrobat XI Pro does allow you to Edit/Insert text and images, but it isn't meant to do heavy lifting in that department. And, there's really no way to edit tables in Acrobat, as they are typically made of individual vector lines that you can't fill.

If you have lots of changes to make, or want to add/remove a table, you're better off making those changes in the source application and re-creating the PDF.

Best,

Sara

Thanks so much Sara.  I am looking to edit fields ie/ price cells to update pricing in tables that have been included in our PDF document.  Are you saying that this can not be done?

Many thanks in advance for your clarification.

Cheers

Lucy

Hi Lucy,

If you're just needing to edit text in table cells, you should be able to do that (as opposed to adding/removing entire tables).

Best,

Sara
