I have an active paid account- I can no longer access EDIT pdf without pop up asking me to ADD edit pdf.. has something changed+

As per the description above, you are not able to edit a PDF file, Is that correct?

The record shows that you are subscribed to Adobe ExportPDF service on your current Adobe ID, with it you can turn PDF files into editable Word, Excel, and RTF (rich text format) documents, but you cannot edit any PDF file.

To edit a PDF file you need Acrobat DC, see Adobe Acrobat Pro DC: PDF converter, convert PDFs from anywhere.

You can access the Adobe ExportPDF service through the URL https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf

You can access the Adobe ExportPDF service through the URL https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf with your Adobe ID and password on a browser like Chrome, or Firefox, or Safari.

You can also use the freeware Adobe Reader DC to use the service, just sign-in with your current Adobe ID and password. To download Adobe Reader DC, use the URL Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

For troubleshooting, you can refer to Troubleshooting Create PDF, Export PDF, Adobe Send, Fill & Sign … services(PDFPack or Document Cloud...
