Edit PDF online with Acrobat Web.

Now edit PDF online using the amazing tools available online on Acrobat web. 

 

Adobe Acrobat Online now provides you the tools to edit PDF on the go. If you have a subscription you can have access to all the tools available online to make changes to your PDF from anywhere. Just upload your file to Document Cloud and edit it whenever you wish or require. 

 

Note: There are only basic editing tools available online to make changes to PDF. To get access to full editing tools you will need the Acrobat desktop application.

 

Here are the steps to sign to the Adobe Acrobat Online account: 

Open a browser, sign-in to Acrobat web using your Adobe ID and password or social (Facebook, Google, or Apple) account.

Once you are signed in, it lands you on the Home page by default. To access the edit tools, either go to All Tools > Web and scroll down the screen for the Edit tools.

Or directly go to the Edit option.

You can also directly open the PDF and select the tools from the tools pane appear on the right-hand side of the window.

Find below the list of Edit tools available on the Acrobat Online account: 

 

Add text: This feature helps you to type text anywhere on the PDF page. You can simply open the PDF on Acrobat online and select the Add text under the Edit option provided in the tool pane at the right-hand side.  You may also go to Edit > Add text and simply drag and drop the PDF file to open it and make the changes. This option opens the PDF in the Fill & Sign mode. So, you will have access to other tools as well.

Add comments: This feature helps you to add annotations to the PDF. Though it does not provide all the tools that are available on the desktop application, it provides you the basic tools for annotating the PDFs. There is a comments panel appear at the right with a toggle option to make it visible or hide. 

The annotation options available online are: Add Sticky NoteHighlight textUnderline textStrikethrough textAdd text, and Use Drawing tool.

Combine Files: You can also combine different files online. However, for that, you will need a subscription to either Adobe PDF Pack service or the Acrobat Pro DC.

Reorder Pages: You may now reorder the pages in the PDF on the go. Simply log in to your Acrobat account online and open the PDF. Select the Reorder tool under the Edit option provided in the tool pane at the right-hand side. The feature is available only for the subscription holders. 

 

Delete pagesIf you have a subscription to either Adobe PDF Pack service or the Acrobat Pro DC, you may also delete the pages from a PDF online from anywhere. Just keep your PDF ready and open it on your Acrobat account online. Go to Edit > Delete. 

 

Rotate PagesRotating PDF pages now can be done online as well. However, you will need a subscription to either Adobe PDF Pack service or Acrobat Pro DC.  

 

Organize pages: If you have a subscription to either Adobe PDF Pack service or Acrobat Pro DC, you may get access to basic tools for organizing PDF online. You can now insert, delete, rotate, and rearrange PDFs online using the Organize PDF tool. It does not include all the desktop application features though.
