Every time entry to convert a PDF file on my MAC to a word document, it comes back typed in code. Now what??

Adobe says it has successfully converted my PDF file to word docx, but comes backing code.What is going on here?

Can you please tell us a bit more about the files that you're converting? If they were created by a third-party application (anything other than Acrobat or Adobe PDF Pack), they may not be written to standard.
