Exporting PDF To Excel (Format Problems with thousand separator).

Hi, all!

I'm attempting to export a credit card statement from PDF to Excel. The issue is that the statement uses a point as a thousand separator (I'm based in Latin America). However, Acrobat Web recognizes the point as a decimal separator, resulting in completely inaccurate data. I have specified that the output format should be in Spanish.

Unfortunately, I cannot locate any menu options to resolve this problem in the web App (Acrobat Web).

Do any of you have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Thank you very much for your help.

Carlos.

You can do a Search & Replace command in Excel to remove the periods, and then replace the commas (used as the decimal separators) with periods.

Thank you very much, try67, for your answer. Your solution is greatly appreciated.

I would like to add an observation. I remember that when I initially used the Adobe software (although I'm unsure of the exact version because I was experimenting with the conversion capabilities), I didn't encounter this conversion problem. This issue may be specific to the basic version of Adobe web? Not sure about this...
