I have a subpoena response due that includes emails with attachments. I'm saving the emails as pdf files but there is confidential info in the email attachments. Can I make redactions to the email attachments in the pdf files and save it so that the confidential info is redacted?

Acrobat Pro has a tool to redact PDFs. So long as they are not protected or signed. You have to download your attachments to do this, and probably can't update the email with the changed file.
Beware! On the web are lots of people giving REALLY BAD ADVICE on redacting PDFs - suggesting things that could be removed in seconds. Use only the redaction tool.

Yes, I have the Adobe Pro and use it often. Wasn't sure if there was a way to redact and still keep the attachment with the pdf file of emails. Thanks!
