How do I get the free PDF file to convert it to a Word document in DOCX format?

The email  from Adobe does not explain how to get it. I have attempted to get it converted but it keeps saying that I must pay the subs.

To Convert PDF to Word Using Acrobat XI .. Please follow the below steps :

How to convert a PDF file to Word:

1. Open a file in Acrobat XI.
2. Choose Tools > Content Editing > Export File to Microsoft Word Document.
3. Click Settings to turn on optical character recognition (OCR) if your PDF contains scanned text.
4. Name the Word file and save it in a desired location.
