Hi Andrewn, 

Your account information says that you have already upgraded to the Acrobat Pro DC subscription. Acrobat has the capability to run the OCR (Optical character recognition) Using the Edit feature of the Acrobat you can edit the text of a scanned document.

1- Make sure that you have downloaded the correct application-  Download and install Acrobat DC subscription

2- Sign In with your Adobe ID and password to activate it.

3- Follow the steps suggested here: Edit scanned PDFs, turn off automatic OCR, Adobe Acrobat

There's no product called "Adobe DC". What exactly did you buy, please check the receipt.
