How can I highlight or underline?

Having converted the PDF to doc.x I can't figure out how to underline/highlight text (as I can do in word).

Could you please let me know what version of Adobe Reader/Acrobat are you using.

For Reader/Acrobat XI, go to "Comment> Annotations" and choose Highlight text or Underline options (screenshot of icons shown below):

Is the problem that you're unable to highlight text in the converted Word document? Or that you wanted to highlight text in a PDF, as Anubha provides instructions for?
