How do I compress a pdf from 8,7MB to 3MB

Please help!

I have a 6page PDF that I need to email. The customer can only receive attachments up to 3MB and my file is 8,7MB.

I have tried online file converters, tried saving as a jpg (but I need 1 doc, not 6 separate ones).

Don't email the file. Just email the link: people need to email big files all the time. In any case, directly emailing a PDF is asking for trouble, it often damages it.

To automatically email a link just use a service like http://www.wetransfer.com/
