I have some statements from AMEX that are PDF SECURITY PROTECTED and I need to convert them to EXCEL to summarize them.
Hi there,
The only way around that is to get the password from AMEX so that you can unlock the PDF. As you've discovered, ExportPDF can't process files that are password protected.
Best,
Sara

They won’t give it to me or they claim they do not know how to do this. Thanks.

Many banks etc. protect their statements. May be specifically to stop people editing their statements, or even reusing the information (perhaps some of them sell a premium product). So I'm afraid it's a common annoyance.

A simpler way to bypass the adobe password protection, Print your pdf to PDF, then export or convert.
