I have a document that I am trying to convert to either excel or word document but when I convert it looks like it takes the first few lines of each page and makes them into a header with text boxes in word and ignores them in excel. The data appears to be more or less ok but the formatting makes the conversion not very useful. How do I convert this and get all the information on every page?

Hi Kg,
As per the description above, I can understand that you want to convert a PDF into a Word Document without adding headers into, Is that correct?
Please refer to the following links for more information: https://acrobatusers.com/forum/pdf-creation/how-do-i-convert-pdf-without-headersfooters/ Link: https://acrobatusers.com/forum/pdf-creation/how-do-i-convert-pdf-without-headersfooters/
Can I omit headers and footers in conversion? Link: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1224444

Thanks but these don't answer my question since I'm trying to convert from PDF to Excel/Word using the Export PDF online tool. The input file is just a scan of a page and doesn't have any built in structure, the text comes through more or less ok but for some reason the tool is adding a header to every page.
The middle link that was posted seems to be the same question but there is no answer listed there either.

Hi Kg,
Please select/check the settings in the Export Settings.
Navigate to File>Export To>Word Document> Under the File Name, you will get the Settings option, click on it and check/select the settings.
Also, try to export another PDF file and check. Is it possible to share the document so that we can replicate the issue at our end. You can send me a Private message, to send a Private message, refer to How Do I Send Private Message Link: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1184148
