I need a serial number to finish installation of Adobe Acrobat XI. I purchased the standard version, and I do not know how to find my serial number.

Hi dstan47,

I checked your account--it doesn't look like you're using a subscription version, which doesn't require a serial number. So, please see Find your serial number quickly - Adobe.

If you're still having trouble, please let us know.

Best,

Sara

Yes, you're right, it is a subscription, and that is why I had no serial number. Although, last night I was upgraded to Acrobat XI Pro, and told that I could install Acrobat on my computer now. However, it is still asking for a serial number to proceed with the installation. I was upgraded during a customer support chat session, and after the session, a folder with Acrobat XI installation appeared on my desktop. I went into that folder and ran the installation, but as I said it still asked for a serial number. All I am really trying to do is get what I need so that I can embed text, in order to upload a pdf to a website that requires all text in the document is embedded. Any idea why it is still asking for a serial number, or if I should have one now and be able to find it, or how to embed text with what I currently have?

Thanks
