I purchased the Adobe PDF Pak. I hoped to be able to convert files to PDF by using the "Print to PDF" function. But I cannot find that function on any of my print screens - not on Safari, or Firefox, or Word...any suggestions?

Hi mwroberts,
Are you using Windows? If so, there should be a link to download the Create PDF Desktop Printer on the Create PDF page (log in to https://cloud.acrobat.com/createpdf). The Create PDF Desktop Printer is only available on Windows. And, there are plans to discontinue the Desktop Printer, but I believe the link is currently available. Here are instructions for setting up the printer after you've downloaded it: Using Adobe PDF Pack
Please let us know how it goes.
Best,
Sara

Dear Sara,
No, I'm on a Mac. And the "Print to PDF" option was why I purchased the Pak. alas.
Thanks.

Hi,
Well, darn! I'm sorry that your subscription isn't giving you the one thing that you chose it for! If it's been less that 30 days since you subscribed, you're entitled to a full refund. If you'd like to cancel your subscription, please contact Adobe Customer Support; an agent will be able to take care of that for you. Contact Customer Care
An Acrobat subscription would give you the functionality that you're looking for. You're welcome to try it for 30 days for free (no obligation whatsoever!). For more information, please see www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
Best,
Sara

Dear Sara,
Thanks so much for your kindness. I was hoping to find ways to turn Pinterest Boards into PDFs. All the discussion Oates say the "Print to PDF" option is the only way to do it well and easily.
I appreciate your letting me know about the trial period. You have been very helpful and thoughtful in your responses. I deeply appreciate your company.

Sara, just to be clear, are you saying the Acrobat subscription would give me the option to "Print to PDF"?
If so, which Acrobat product would be best? The XI or the Pro?
Thanks, W

The current version of Acrobat is XI, and you can subscribe to either the Pro or Standard versions. Here's feature comparison list for you: Adobe Acrobat XI It just depends on what your needs are--the Standard version is a little less expensive, but of course has a fewer features.
As for "printing to PDF," it's a little different on Mac OS than it used to be with different versions. Instead of seeing "Acrobat" as a printer choice, you will have PDF button in the lower-right corner of the Print dialog box when you're in your Mac OS applications. So, to "print" to PDF, you click that button and then choose Save as PDF from the pop-up menu.
I hope that answers your questions, but don't hesitate to let us know if you have additional questions.
Regards,
Sara

Dear Sara,
Again, thank you for your time and care. I have tried multiple times to do just that - use the pull-down menu for PDF in the print dialogue box. The only problem is that if I try to save a 9-page document as a PDF, it saves all nine pages - but only the first three have content. Pages 4-9 are blank. Every time.
So, it seems not all things are possible in this life...
If you have any other ideas, I would be grateful. I was truly hoping to save a large number of files in this way, and feel frustrated that what seems like an obvious move - saving a small document, file, or web page as a PDF - should be virtually impossible, at least for Mac OSX users like myself.
Thanks again for your continued support.

Hi Wayne,
What are on those first three pages? Any chance that they contain images? If so, please open the Acrobat Preferences and make sure that "Show Large Images" is selected in the Page Display section. (It appears about half-way down the dialog box).
Do you have trouble with just this one PDF, or others as well? I think we can get to the bottom of this!
Best,
Sara
