How do I reply to questions that

are asked of me about my operating system etc. if there is no link to provide the info to the "participant" giving advice?

If you don't see the Reply link, you might not be signed in.  Look in the upper right of this window.  Does it say "Sign in" or "Welcome, yourname"?
