Hi deto_ws,

Yes. From SharePoint document libraries, you can:

  • Open a PDF file, edit it in Acrobat, and save it back into the repository.
  • Turn any repository file into a PDF and save it
  • Turn any repository file into a PDF and email it
  • Combine multiple files into a single PDF

You can also automate processes by hosting shared document reviews or data collection for PDF forms on your SharePoint server.

Refer to  FAQ | Adobe Acrobat DC

How do you Combine multiple files into a single PDF from SharePoint document libraries?  Do you have to open each document first?

Hi brianc94063,

With the versions of SharePoint and Acrobat that can integrate, you open the PDF on SharePoint in the Edit mode, you need the SharePoint rights properly set,and then you can insert PDFs from your local network or open multiple PDFs in the edit mode on SharePoint, tile the display and drag and drop pages. When finished just save and close the PDF and the changed PDF will save back to SharePoint. This is the same way as MS Office documents are edited in SharePoint.

When one opens a PDF in the "Edit" mode, the PDF will open in Acrobat and not as a web page.

Aadesh

Hi,

From what I read, can you confirm that from SharePoint 2013, I can open a pdf file directly in edit mode with an adobe product.

If yes, how can I set-up it and with which Adobe products: Adobe Acrobat DC ?

Can I save it directly back to SharePoint?

Regards,

Christophe
