Hi there,
I'm encountering an issue when I try to import PDFs to InDesign and Photoshop. I'm an architecture student and I regularly need to transfer PDF files of my drawings to Photoshop or InDesign for further editing and collating. When I attempt to import a self-made PDF into one of these programs I am hit with a request for a permissions password. Although I am the author of these PDFs and I have never set a permissions password for my PDF files, I still encounter this issue all the same. It doesn't seem to be a password specific to a particular file for access but rather a general password for all of my PDF files that prevents me from editing or using them in Photoshop or InDesign (and presumably other applications).
I've seen this same issue described across several discussions online but have yet to find an answer. If anyone can offer some help or understanding of the issue I'd greatly apprecite it.
Thanks in advance!
Ethan

Can you share a sample PDF file?

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.
Please share the screenshot of the password pop-up you receive.
Did you create these PDFs in Acrobat? Share the steps by step workflow you do that results in the permission password pop-up.
Screenshots or screen recordings will be very helpful in understanding the issue.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
