What does this have to do with Adobe's DC PDF Services?

My mistake. I should have said 'I can't edit my excel document with a formula having exporting it from a PDF to excel' even though Adobe say the exported files are fully editable. Should I now ask a new question?

No, that's fine.

What happens when you attempt to do so?

It sounds more like an issue with Excel, to be honest...

The answer to the formula is always #Value. I cannot find where the error is. All other files work ok.

Hello Derekj,

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you are not able to edit the Excel file exported from PDF, Is that correct?

The record shows that you are subscribed to Adobe ExportPDF services with current Adobe ID, try exporting the PDF file through the URL https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf with your Adobe ID and password on a browser like Chrome, or Firefox, or Safari and see if this brings any difference in the excel and file and lets you edit it.

Have you tried exporting any other PDF file to excel and checked if the issue is reproducible? If it is specific to one PDF file, Is it possible to share the PDF file with us and the converted excel file so that we can test it at our end and check?

To share the file, please use Adobe Send feature, upload the file, share the link to files via private message only, How Do I Send Private Message

Does your PDF contain form fields? As Form fields and formulas in it are not being converted, so if your complete document is made up form fields, you would not get any information in your resulting Excel file.

For troubleshooting, you may refer to Troubleshooting Create PDF, Export PDF, Adobe Send, Fill & Sign … services(PDFPack or Document Cloud...

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

Regards,

Anand Sri.
