I cannot convert files to Word because it says the file has a password associated with it. I don't know what to do as I did not set up the document with a password.

Hi Stormagus,

There are several types of PDF file types that ExportPDF can't convert to Word, and those that are password-protected are one (see Adobe ExportPDF FAQ).

It sounds, however, that you are the one who created this PDF file--is that the case? Do you see "SECURED" in the title bar (that would indicate that the PDF does have a password).

Unfortunately, if the file is password-protected, the ExportPDF won't be able to convert it. You would have to remove that password security.
