I have subscription of Adobe XI but i am not able to edit text and images of the the PDF files which i veiw through Adobe XI reader?

I have subscription of Adobe XI but i am not able to edit text and images of the the PDF files which i veiw through Adobe XI reader?

Hi shyamm92593137,

Adobe Reader and Acrobat are separate, and independent applications. Reader lets you view and comment on PDFs. But to actually edit a PDF, you need to use Acrobat. Did you download and install Acrobat? Once you do, you can set Acrobat as the default application to open PDF files (steps vary depending on your operating system--if you tell me what OS you're on, I can provide the steps for doing that).

Here's the info you need to set Acrobat as the default application to handle PDFs in Windows 7:
