When I open the PDF, I am not prompted for a password.

When I click on the padlock icon (underneath the Home icon) I cannot find a way to enter the password.

I can read the pdf, but I want to edit it!

I have Adobe Export membership.

Do I need some other level of membership to edit my own p/w protected document?!

Hi Sirdave,

Yes, that is correct. In order to Edit the pdf document you need to subscribe for the Acrobat DC.

Edit functionality doesn't come up with the Export PDF subscription. Export PDF just let you to export the pdf and covert it to other (word, excel &ppt) format.

You may check- PDF editor, edit text in PDF files | Adobe Acrobat DC

Hope this helps.
