I am trying to upload docs to the patent office but when I convert my Microsoft Word files and then try to upload, I get an error that reports I need to embed fonts into the pdf file. Am I spinning my wheels here or is there a fix? Here are the errors I get:

The attached PDF file references a non-embedded font: TimesNewRomanPSMT. Please remove file, embed the font and reattach.

The attached PDF file references a non-embedded font: TimesNewRomanPS-BoldMT. Please remove file, embed the font and reattach

Hi stogystandman,

Make sure that the fonts are properly embedded while creating the PDF PDF fonts, Adobe Acrobat.

If you can read the fonts, there is a preflight routine for embedding fonts I think. You may be able to embed them with PDF Optimize.

Aadesh
