Are you using Acrobat Pro DC application or online Adobe Create PDF service to convert Word file to PDF?

If you are using Acrobat Pro DC application then follow the steps mentioned in this KB doc. Acrobat Help | Create PDFs with Acrobat DC to create PDF.

Else if you are using online Adobe Create PDF service then follow this link https://cloud.acrobat.com/createpdf , Sign In using your Adobe ID to create the PDF online.
