I am having difficulty in converting I.R.S. pdf tax forms to word. Important lines in the I.R.S. 1040 tax form pdf are unreadable after conversion. What am I doing wrong? Garrett111

You should not convert this form. It was created using LiveCycle Designer and as such can contain hidden parts that will only become visible when certain options are selected, not to mention calculations, validations, etc. Open this file in Adobe Reader (or Acrobat) and fill it in directly there.

Also, you should not convert the form because it will always change (a little or a lot) even with the most perfect conversion. This is very important because the goverment may consider using a "modified" form a form of forgery and you could end up in deep trouble. Just don't think about it.
