just purchased not a product, as I was corrected by Adobe help, the service... per advertising it said it would be able to split a pdf into multiple pdf's. now it doesn't look like it. was advised there is no help supported with the service I purchased, but they're more then happy to sign me up for the more expensive version!

I don't have the time or money to play around. All I want to do is split larger pdf's into several pdf's. anyone that can guide me??? I'm ready to cancel the service!!!

Hi Bettinat,

Sorry to hear about the trouble.

Your account information says that you are a subscriber of  Adobe PDF Pack. This is an online service, which includes "Organize Pages" feature. However, there are few features within Organize Page" tool that can only be accessed with the Acrobat DC subscription.

"Split page" feature is not available in PDF pack through Adobe Document Cloud

Acrobat DC is a desktop application and comes with a separate subscription. Because of that it could be a possibility that you were offered to upgrade your service, to access "Split Page" feature.

Here is how it works: How to split a PDF file |

If your subscription doesn't fulfill your requirement, then you can cancel it following the instructions given here: Cancel your membership or subscription | Adobe Acrobat, Document Cloud PDF services

Hope this answers your query.

Thanks,
Akanchha

Did not purchase Acrobat DC because of the $$'s. Did not seem needed to upgrade that much for the few times I need it. The only thing I truly will be using it every now and then for is to split a larger file. Now in the advertising it hat both services side by side and check marks for each task they are able to do. Since there was one on the split task for both, I purchased.

Thank you again for the link, but if my page would look like that, I would've been able to do it in the first place.

Sorry, very frustrated!

I have one suggestion, if you don't want to pay for the service/product that does the job directly.

You want to split a document up.

1. Make a copy of the document.

2. Open the document in the online service.

3. Delete all the pages that don't belong in the first part.

4. Save your document.

5. Make a new copy of the document; delete the pages you don't want in the SECOND part and save.

6. Repeat until done.

Sounds like a long process, but like the only option at this point.

Thank you!!!
