Hi Germain,

Adobe eSign services are HIPAA compliant and we are working toward HIPAA compliance for all of our Document Cloud PDF services.

Hi Sara,

If after a period of time, I decided to remove documents from my Adobe Cloud Storage, is there an unknown copy somewhere that would remain? In essence, if I wanted to totally remove selected documents leaving no trace in the document cloud, could that be done?

Thank you.

Germain

So the answer is No, documents in the ADOBE CLOUD are NOT HIPPA compliant. SO please let us know how to stop adobe from uploading to the cloud with a SIMPLE solution not some kind of registry hack. We need a simple prompt that offers the option to NOT store such in the adobe cloud not some kind of solution that requires a great deal of effort.

So are we saying here that when one using adobe sign, and the "agreement" gets stored to the adobe cloud, the signing may have been HIPAA compliant but the automatic storage of the agreement is no sitting there, non-HIPAA compliant?

Hi stanleydenman,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please refer to the information provided in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/3HQvdkD.

The conversation above refers to the documents that are directly saved to Adobe Document Cloud, not the Acrobat Sign documents.

Let us know if you are looking for any particular information.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
