Is there a way to pay a flat rate per document for editing capabilities in PDF? I don't do it often enough to justify the monthly subscription.

As mentioned above that, you want a plan to just pay per document that you edit. But unfortunately, we do not have such a plan under our subscription options. Here is a help document you can refer to for understanding plans and pricing:
