Is there a way to preserve columns, layouts, and formatting when converting from PDF to Excel? I am able to convert but I am losing all three.

Sorry for the delay in response to your query.

I believe you are using the Export PDF feature of  Document Cloud pdf services to convert the pdf file to excel format?

Here is a similar forum discussion about the same query- I need to convert PDF to Excel, however, columns and tabs make many merged cells and many blank colu...  you may go through the correct answer given there which would give better understanding about the conversion format.
