Is there a way to upload multiple files at once using Acrobat.com?

I am a die hard workspaces user and heavily rely on this program for work purposes.  Once this program is no longer available, I will be required (By Adobe Acrobat) to begin using Acrobat.com for all of my online pdf file management needs.  Currently with workspaces, I'm able to select the upload/import option and select multiple (over 150 at a time) files to be transferred from my desktop to the workspaces account.

In an effort to better prepare for the decommissioning of workspaces, I attempted to complete my tasks through Acrobat.com today, rather than workspaces.  I was very distraught to discover that only one file could be selected for upload at a time.

I did search through the online help and support and this was the only answer I was able to find:

Acrobat.com offers several ways to upload files to the cloud. To add files, do one of the following:

  • Click the Upload File icon on the Acrobat.com toolbar. Select the file or files that you want to upload in the File Upload dialog box, and then click Open.
  • If you’re uploading files to a new, or empty, folder, open the folder and then click the File Upload icon in the middle of the application window.
  • Drag files from your computer onto the Acrobat.com application window.

A progress bar appears as Acrobat.com uploads your files, and scans them for viruses

I attempted to do each of these options, multiple times.  The only one that worked was clicking the "Upload File" Icon and it would only let me do one at a time without any possible way to upload any more than one.

This is a massive problem that needs to be fixed ASAP.  It is save to assume that I am not the only Adobe/Acrobat user that uploads multiple files at a time and has to do so in a timely manner.  On average, I use workspaces to upload 400-500 files, per day.  Unfortunately, uploading each file individually is not even remotely realistic and will promptly result in the installation of a more user friendly program that likely will not be a member of the Adobe line.

Is there a way to upload multiple files to Acrobat.com?  If there is not, is this a feature that will be added before the January deadline for workspaces?

Hi LRagsdale517,

You should definitely be able to upload multiple files by Shift-clicking or Ctrl-clicking the files you want to upload. Just to make sure you don't have an old version of the service cached, please clear the browser cache and then log in to https://cloud.acrobat.com/files. After clicking the File Upload icon in the upper-right corner, you should be able so select multiple files for upload.

Please let us know how it goes.

Sara

I have the same problem, and the solution you recomend, using an upload file icon sounds terrific. The problem is that after hours of looking, I cannot find this icon. WHERE IS IT?
